My titles proudly consist of wife, mother, and educator. I live and work in Evansville, IN, but I grew up in the small town that John Mellencamp made famous in the 80’s with his song, “Small Town”, Seymour, IN.

My life has always revolved around girls. I have three sisters, all four of us within four years of each other. And then, my very patient husband (bless his heart) and I have three daughters. Lots of make-up, dresses, and drama. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our oldest, Gillian, is married and lives in Texas.  She and her husband, Madison, are expecting their first child in December, and I cannot wait to be Marme. Meredith, our middle, is a hair stylist in Evansville, and is great at keeping things lively around our house. Hadley is our baby and will be graduating from Purdue University in December with aspirations of attending veterinary school in the fall of 2025.

My educational career involves teaching elementary and middle school, mainly English and reading, and supporting educators as an instructional coach and testing/data coordinator.  I have also taught as an adjunct instructor at the college level and tutored high school students in English. I’m currently retired and learning to be still and follow Jesus more and more each day.

My favorite things include reading, writing, Netflix bingeing, praise music, and spending time with my family and friends! I love my God, my family, my friends.  I am blessed.
